This ninety minute course introduces the student to the basics of word processing using Microsoft's Word program. From the very first step on how to identify and utilize the tools to editing, saving and printing features. The student will leave the class with a basic understanding of how the program works and how to access it on their own from their home pc or by using the library's free computers.

Prerequisites: Keyboard and mouse abilities.
