Illustrated story books come to life as retired Towson University dance professor Sandra Perez leads you through creative exercises that teach reading through dance. Reading fundamentals, such as recognition of shapes, sizes, colors, patterns, letters, numbers and words, are covered while we create a short dance with music that expresses the story being read. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Celebrate the legacies of African American ball players and the love of the game in this hands-on history presentation. Ray Banks, a representative from the Hubert V. Simmons Museum of Negro Leagues Baseball, shows memorabilia from the museum and shares the history and stories behind the objects.

Enjoy the ride on the Red Rocket, circa 1948-1952. The presentation shows the entire route of the Red Rocket from its early beginnings in downtown Baltimore to the Bay Shore Amusement Park. Sights along the route include the Shot Tower, Fort Holabird, the Dundalk Shopping Center district and many more. Bring your memories. Audience participation is welcome.
