Event Details
A panel of authors discuss how their writing has been impacted by their personal experiences - a memoir of life with a disability; a novel about musicians set during the AIDS epidemic; a collection of poetry about biology, love and art; stories about unexpected romance, accidental murder and the curse of immortality; and an American Book Award winner about generations of Palestinians in a West Bank village. Authors include Susan Darraj (A Curious Land: Stories from Home), Jen Michalski (The Summer She Was Under Water), Lalita Norohna (Mustard Seed: A Collage of Science, Art and Love Poems), Kris Faatz (To Love a Stranger) and Rebecca Faye Smith Galli (Rethinking Possible: A Memoir of Resilience).
