Join us for a lively discussion of Water in a Broken Glass by Odessa Rose. Rose also joins Woodlawn Page Turners for a discussion of her book. Book sales and signings to follow. Books are $15, cash or card accepted. Rose received her M.A. in Literature from University of Maryland College Park. Water in a Broken Glass, her first novel, captured the #6 spot on the On-Demand Best Seller list, is ranked #17 on Accredited Online Colleges' 20 Essential Novels For African American Women list and is included in Black Like Us: A Century of Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual African American Fiction. Water in a Broken Glass will soon be a feature film titled Water. Rose is a member of Black Writers Guild of Maryland. She is also co-creator of the magazine, This Is Baltimore, Too. She resides in her hometown of Baltimore with her husband and three children.
