Aerial photographer and pilot Peter Stern combines his love for flying, photography and painting. Here, he discusses regional environmental concerns and how he uses his airplane and camera to convey his artistic vision. His exhibit, Coal Mines to Coastal Zones: Aerial Photography by Peter Stern, runs from February 3 through March 23 at the Hereford Branch.
