6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Event Details

This program has been canceled. Expungement is the removal of records from public inspection. Disability Rights Maryland (DRM) may be able to help expunge court and police records for clients who are eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) benefits and for whom a criminal record is a barrier to employment. DRM staff will have an informational table in the branch to confirm benefit status and investigate criminal history to determine eligibility for expungement. Please bring your SSI or SSDI award letter. The process can take three to six months to expunge a criminal record. DRM's services are free for this project.
