Master Gardener Julie Acker joins us to discuss native plants. This program defines invasive versus aggressive, describes the extensive damage to an ecosystem from invasive introductions and recommends specific native plants to replace invasive species once removed.

There are a few easy tips that can take a photo from "just okay" to "oh, wow!" During this workshop, we quickly review the basics of a phone camera: automatic focus, exposure, zoom, etc. We also discuss aspects of composition, light and cropping to better understand how to capture the content you want to share. Whether it's a school recital, family reunion or your favorite meal, you will have a few tricks up your sleeve when snapping photos. This workshop promises to be fun, educational and interactive.
