Learn the benefits of using an induction cooktop and tips to help create healthy and nutritious meals at home. Come prepared to cook; ingredients and tools provided. Caution: This program uses induction cooktop units that emit an electromagnetic field; therefore, those with pacemakers should consult with their physicians before attending. Join us for a presentation by the author as she discusses
her new book, To Slip the Bonds of Earth, featuring the younger sister of the
famed aviation duo the Wright brothers. When Orville and Wilbur return home to
Dayton to attend a party, they discover their plans for an unpatented flyer is
stolen. It is up to Katherine Wright to solve the case, which quickly turns to
murder. Amanda Flower talks about the novel and the research that is needed
when turning a real historical figure into a sleuth. Amanda Flower is the
author of several mystery series, including the Amish Candy Shop mysteries, the
Amish Matchmaker mysteries and the Farm to Table mysteries. Book sales follow
the presentation.
